Do you like this baby girl name?
We found out March 23 that we are having a baby girl, and we couldn’t be more happier.
We chose the name Lorelei…though we needed opinions on the spelling variation and middle names.
We kinda like the spelling Lorelai better. But some say it looks like LORE-A-LAY…and of course you can imagine I would not want my daughter being made fun of or called that. I thought that Lorelei looked like LORE-A-LAY because (lei) is how you say lay in Hawaii and such.
Middle name choices: Surname is Primas
Lorelei/Lorelai Grace Primas
Lorelei/Lorelai Jade Primas
I never watched Gilmore Girls, so I did not get the name from there. The way I see it…someone can always find a way to make fun of a name if they really wanted. .. I am just trying to make the best decision on spelling. I even think Lorali or Loreli just look to weird.
